Old Indian movie question- do you know this movie..?

Does anyone know this hindi movie-- the murderer is known from the start and the detectives' efforts to catch him become very interesting. It was directed by Vijay Anand. It probably came out in the 1970's.

Joony Mera naam- is a good guess, but in it, the audience does not know till the end who the villain is.
