Is Michael Jackson's new album going to be pop (like thriller) or hip-hop/R&B....?

Because i heard that will.i.am from the black eyed peas is producing it, which one would think it might be hip-hop right? But then i also heard that it is going to be more off the wall-sounding....??

Also, do you know when it is coming out?

The new album will probably be MJ's consistent sound- a mix of pop, R & B and Hip Hop. That is what makes MJ so unique- his music cannot fall under one category. He created the sound that you hear today from those young wannabe MJ artists.

Oh- and to answer your question, if the Black Eyed Peas are producing it, it will probably be more hip-hop, which might be a good thing for MJ at this point.

I think it will be a mixture of both pop and hip hop, can't wait to hear it though! I heard it will be released late this year!
