if kevin was smart he would stay in school for one more year then jump to the nba. not only would it give him more experience but would be able to work out with nba teams in the off season and improve his college game. and of course if he stayed and had a fantastic year next year that would help imensely with contract negotions with his future nba club.

First off, I liked how at the press conference following the game Durant completely avoided the question claiming it was not the appropriate time because he was trying to gather his emotions and think about the possibility for next year. Also, did you hear that Danny Ainge got fined because he had to much contact with Durant and his family at the Big 12 tournament. That being said, it looks like Durant is going to go pro. He avoided the question and it seems like his family has already been in contact with the NBA. Durant risks injury if he returns to the collegiate level but he has said that he enjoys college life. The only reason he would want to return would be to win a title but then again his chances may be slimmer if Augustine decides to go pro and rumor has it is that Augustine is considering it because he would be a top ten pick....so Durant is going to go pro.

Think of your favorite college.... ok got it?
Good now think of anything you wouldn't do against that college for a $15 million contract. $15 million is what Durant will get in his 3 year contract if he goes pro as the #1 or #2 overall pick (ok so if he goes #2 it will be like $13 million I could live with that). No matter how much you love any college, name me a school you are going to turn down $15 million for? Everyone would take the money they'd be stupid not to.

he should probably go pro.... because he is a absolute beast.
If he decided to stay another texas still wouldnt be top 15 ranking worthy. So unless he likes to play with DJ Augastine that much he will likely go pro. Since he is likely go top 3 in the draft he will risk getting picked lower in draft if he stays another year. Joakim Noah is probably getting picked lower this year than if he went pro last year.

I think his interview said it all after the loss in the ncaa tourney. He didnt want to answer the question after it was asked, rather put the attention on the Texas basketball program. He will leave and be a 1 or 2 draft pick.
