Can I just go to RadioShack and get something?

No printers come with cables. It is a dirty little secret so you are forced to buy the heavy marked up cables from the store. Just get a USB printer cable from Walmart and save a bunch of money.

Sure. Go to the nearest RadioShack and ask for an USB cable for connecting your printer.
Strangely enough, USB cables do not seem to come bundled with ANY printer.

I just connected my HP today. The salesman told me at the time of purchase that I needed a cable to connect the printer to the computer. Go back to the store and they will tell you what you need. It is easy to do.

Wal-mart will be cheaper I brought an hp all in one about 1 month ago and had the same problem the sales person never told me it didnt have one ..I returned to walmart and purchased one it was under 10 dollars

most printers no longer come with the cable supplied any more, you need to get a usb cable,available at any computer shop

yes - tell them you need a USB cable to connect your printer to your PC and they will hook you up.
