Does anyone know how I can make my own custom shaped metal keychains at home? What equipment is necessary & are there small scale/home versions available? I assume some sort of press, die, & mold is required, but not positive.

Thanks.

I would prefer something like cutting/punching from thin sheets (but not too thin) of something like aluminum. Would rather stay away from melting stuff down.

Found this stuff called "Metal Clay" which can be formed like clay and then heated to turn into metal, but it is a little pricey.

I'm not sure if you are referring to melting down some kind of metal and pouring it into molds, or cutting from thin sheets of ready made metal.

Your best bet is to look over the jewelry making sites and choose which one would be the most useful for you. I have provided a link to a search list for you. You can take some clues from this list, and perhaps refine the search.
