Sometimes it takes awhile for a woman to get her period after birth. There is no set time limit. However, talk to your doctor just to be sure.

Good luck :)

Two things. One is normal for a women not to have period for a while and it all depends on her body and blood. In some cases may be one in every 100 may not have period for more then 6 months while breast feeding while some will just start after 2 weeks and the second you can get repregnant. Check this out with your doctor. It may happen. May be you are pregnant.

They say it takes a year for your body to get back to normal. Everyone is different. I have 3 kids and i breastfeed and i started my period within 2 weeks of stopping the bleeding from giving birth. My doctor said everyone is different. If you haven't started in the next few months call the doctor. Just keep in mind even with an absent period you can still get pregnant.

I didn't get mine until 4 months after and my doctor said that is normal. I also never had a regualr period in my life I would have one skip 2 months. Have 3 skip 4 months, so on so forth.

I breastfed both of my children and it took 7 months and 13 months for my period to come back.

Have you had unprotected sex since giving birth? It is possible to get pregnant again right after having a baby, even within the first month.

If not, your hormones might still be adjusting from giving birth.

it's ok, don't panic, that's pretty much normal. i didn't get my period for about 6 months after i gave birth, so no worries and according to my OB, our period is gonna come back after a while. BUT that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant during that period of time you don't have your menstruation, so do take the necessary precautions when making love :-)

it's normal not to have your period for a long time after giving birth...i would suggest depo provera...it's given through injection every 3 months...it's the best if birth control is last thing on your mind...since you'll be very busy with your little angel...

Well, you had your baby 3 months ago and probably bled for about 6 weeks. Give it some time, it'll come back.
