My best friend in Italy asked me what my favorite festivity is and i don't know how to answer!

Sure he was talking an English we Italians call "maccheronico", meaning he's trying to "adapt" an Italian word "anglicizing" it; the results are often silly, to say the least :)
Italian word "festività" means "holyday day", like Christmas, Easter, Mother Day, etc.
99% that's what your friend was asking you.

Honey, it is the "quality or state of being festive". And another word for festive would be joyful. Why not make me joyful and give me the points? Hope you are smiling ;) Take care
