Duct tape is the best. Wrap it around your hand inside out and use this to remove the hair. It works wonders! If you don't have duct tape, you can use masking tape or basically any kind of tape.

If you have a roll of packing tape or masking tape, you can loop it around your hand sticky side out. Go over the entire shirt using fresh tape as needed.

Try rubbing it down with a damp washcloth. Or maybe a damp dryer sheet.
Prevention: Keep a "cat blanket" or "dog blanket" and put it over your clothes whenever you pet your pet. We have a kitty who sheds like she's being paid to do it, and she also gets her claws caught in knits all the time. The cat blanket has really worked for keeping my clothes cleaner, and preventing snags!
