Are you having a party? Or a movie festival?
Movies or 'anything' showing on the tv will KILL a party as, even if the sound is down, people will eventually all just stare at the tv, no matter what else is going on...lol I'm an old school dj and know this for a fact. Never turn on the tv if want a rememberable party. Now, on the other hand, if it's a 'movie watching party' you're having (you can call yours a 'Birthday Movie Festival :-)', then what age group will the attendees be and what mood do you want to set by the choice of movies you show? Either way, have a great birthday!
