I took test after test after test. All came back negative but I just had a gut feeling that there was something wrong. I went to the doctor and got a blood test after I took 25 test all negative and I was still having my period just light and not for very long. When I got the blood results back I was pregnant. Although I had a miscarriage because there was something wrong. It could have been prevented if I had known I was pregnant sooner.

There is no such thing as a false positive only false negatives.
Some women who think there pregnant and take a home pregnancy test can take a test after there missed period and have it show up.
Not me.
With me, it takes up to 3 weeks after my missed period for it to show up on a home pregnancy test.
Every women is different.
I don't know why it takes 3 weeks for me and only a couple of days for other people. It just works out that way.
Pregnancy test aren't wrong, it just takes a little longer for the HcG homone to show up on a test sometimes.

I have taken dozens (probably over 100!) of pregnancy tests. Only twice have I had false positives. One was an EPT (blue plus/minus kind) and one was a Target brand. They were both true false positives, with lines that came up immediately. Subsequent blood tests were negative.

The one I took 4 days after missed period was negative, two days later I got a positive result. So 1 right and one wrong.
