RPI wise The pac 10 was #2, at the end of the season, after being number 1 most of the season...My question is where are all the ACC teams now?
USC will beat UNC next week, the last time they met USC kick their @ss, that was last year.

1. pac 10
2. acc

acc is over sec because we had only 2 teams that didnt make NIT or NCAA tourny! we matched up pretty even
florida = unc duke = kentucky virginia = alabama virginia tech = vandy
ACC also had 7 teams in ncaa tourny compared to 5 from the SEC.

I know what the RPI says and how many people say that the ACC is better than the Pac-10 but I believe the Pac-10 is better. The argument goes beyond the number of teams in the sweet 16 or teams in the tourney. It is about the quality of basketball teams. From top to bottom, there is a huge disparity because Arizona St and Oregon st had terrible records and even Cal struggled during the season but the top teams in the Pac-10 are better than the top teams in any conference. Oregon, UCLA and Washington St. ranked near the top of college basketball all season. USC came on late during the season but they beat one of the best teams in the big 12, Texas, soundly. UCLA struggled but yet found a way to beat the Big Ten's third place team, IU. Washington St loss ot the SEC's second place team in double OT..Oregon didnt beat a seed in lower digits yet but still defeated a Wintrhop team many people picked to be Cinderella. The ACC underperformed in the tournament but the Pac-10 lived up to its billings and the tourney is always the best judge of how hard of a league you played in. You have to be prepared night in and night out to play basketball cuz its one and done..lose and you go home.

I don't think so though they are much better than the other overrated conferences (like the ACC they got 7 bids and only 1 made it to the sweet 16). The Big 12 though did get overlooked for all its quality (would have gotten 3 teams in if weren't for an offday by Durant and the Longhorns).

FYI: there will be a series of games between the Big 12 and Pac 10 this upcoming year

I think USC is the big surprise being that they were clearly on the bubble before the Pac-10 tournament. Each team is very well coached and I think UCLA will surprise by making it to Atlanta. The Oregon-UNLV matchup ought to be interesting because those Mountain West teams always setp up when facing the Pac-10 in a big spot

Tournament wise yes, but if they had a Pac-10, ACC tourney the Pac-10 would get MOLLYWOPPED.

I can't answer that but I can say the Big 12 is the most underrated.
