I use the recommended dishwash detergent for my Bosch dishwasher - Electro Sol with Jet dry. Even so, I get white water spots all over my dishware, including my silver ware. What could be causing the problem? I have used all the electrol sol products - 2-1 ball, the 2-1 gel without the jet dry rinse, with the jet dry rinse, the 2-1 power ball with jet dry rinse etc... nothing helps. My dishwasher is only 3 years old. Help!

Two Things That Will Cause This
The first would be Hard Water I would get a hard water test kit for a couple of dollars if you water is hard you may need to get a water treatment for the dishwasher or a water softener but hard water will cause those spots.

Another thing you can try is flushing out Jet Dry compartment with warm water, sometimes it gets clogged up from old Jet Dry and sometimes the Old Jet Dry residue will form spots.

Good Luck!

Check that your aquastat is turned up high enough to give the recommended water temperature or that you chose the option that lets the dishwasher heat any water that is too cold. Water below the optimum temperature will not dissolve the detergent well and will leave those marks on your dishes
