Lots of people make really good bucks, some take home 100K+. I would have tried it myself, but I am not qualified as my parents were married when I was born.

Man i can't see for the life of me why being a car saleman a drab we'll die a hundred death before we not get used to those sales pitches. Some folks car is a part of their being so what's the 411 on that,sure you'll meet some very interesting people buddy in this field. Go for gold

It is not a bad place to start to learn sales, but there are other more enjoyable sales positions. A lot would depend of the company that is selling the cars. There seems to be pretty high turnover in the car business. Carmax is looking for people.

no its a touch and go business...if you wanna make some serious money and still have a lot of time to yourself...become a club promoter..

...its what im doing and im making $500-$1000 per show, so hold 4-5 shows a month you are looking at close to 5K....

...you wont make that selling cars....check it out @

my dads a car salesmen. it depeneds on how big of a company u have. he owns his own business and makes 75,000 a yr. so i hope that answers ur Q
