My farthest book along is a book about vampires. It starts out with this vampire slayer Dimitri while on a hunt for the vampire queen he gets changed into a vampire. Now with his life turned upside down he finds friends and loyalty with the vampires. He must also fight a war with the men he onces called allies. By the way the book is called Blood Moon. You will find out if you read the book when it gets published.

Very confident, arent you? Not to discourage you, but there are SO many books about vampires that it is very hard to avoid sounding like other ones. This sounds kind of like a pastiche of a lot of other vampire books and agents and publishers might be turned off by that. Your job is to make it unique and original. Christopher Moore rights the most original vampire books out there right now. You have to find your slant on the vampire tale. So far, I think you havent found it. Keep looking. Good luck with that. This book sounds great, I usually dont like books about vampires. I just recently read two books about vampires called Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, are you familar with them? I was instantly hooked, But Husband just finished reading a series of books called Cirque De Freak about vampires. I'm assuming you are writing this book? I'd definatly buy it.

sounds pretty cool
i love vampire books
i agree with others, on saying it doesn't sound the most original but look at eragon- one of the most unoriginal books ever and its on bestseller lists and they made a movie out of it (a crappy one, but a movie none the less)

Sounds interesting. That plot twist is kind of unoriginal, though. (Ever seen Van Helsing). But dont let that put you down, keep writing and you will probably get it published.
