I'm not sure, but i feed my cats Special kittie, dry food ,kitten formula and'fish' formula! They have not had any sudden changes..... theve been fed this since last summer.... Should i change it now?

Right now the recall is just wet food, but who knows if any food is "safe" right now. If they're only eating dry food and they're not acting sick (drinking too much, vomiting, not eating) I'd just watch them (and the news) for now. Just in case, keep a sample of their food and the bag it comes in. When in doubt, call your vet for more information. I'm sure they're all going to be swamped with calls this week. This whole thing is pretty scary.

Yes, it seems to be just wet food. Apparently the 'cuts and gravy' style of canned food by Iams, Nutro and Eukanuba are involved. You could check out website www.menufoods.com/recall for a complete list of foods involved.

It was, but I had a client call today and tell me that she saw a dry cat food was being recalled, as well. (on the evening news) I haven't been able to confirm it, though.

you should check the recall list i found it on ask.com under pet food recall there is 40 dog food cans/pouches 29cat food cans/pouches

For now it's just the canned food and that stuff that comes in pouches.
