Worried about first important interview...?

This thursday I am meeting with the scholarship committee at my hospital. They will interview me and determine whether I qualify for the scholarship. I really need this scholarship bc my parents arent rich enough to pay for everything in college and I do not qualify for any financial aid. Can yall plz give me some tips on how to rock that interview. (maybe some from personal experience that worked). What would make the committee really like me? I am really shy and nervous when it comes to these types of things so I would really appreciate some good help. The scholarship being offered is only for students majoring in the medical field. My major is pharmacy. Thanks for the help.

Before the interview:
-your cellphone should be "off"
-dress a little on the conservative side (for males, this would be at least a dress shirt and khakis and something of equal dress for a female)
-even if you have piercings all over you, just stick to the ears (one per ear)
-cover tattoos
-go light/none on the perfume
-arrive 10 minutes before the interview (and present yourself 5 minutes prior to the interview)

During the interview:
-why you like pharmacy
-possible career plans
-one anecdote invoving your interest in pharmacy
-why you need the scholarship
-why you need an education and what you'll get out of it
-listen attentively to questions, pause a second or two if you need to time to mentally compose a response
-what accomplishment are you most proud
-what do you enjoy most about school
-do you feel compelled to help humanity? why?
-your interests/extracurriculars/recreational stuff
-demonstrated example of leadership
-smile
-make eye contact
-seem like a nice, decent human being

After the interview:
-send a thank you note (ideally to each member of the committee but one addressed to the committee as a whole should do)
