michigan state was totally overmatched in every fasset of the game. neitzel is an outstanding player, but he alone could not carry the spartans over tough hansborough and that 10-man deep tar heel squad. its sad to admit though, im a hardcore michigan state fan

Simply, Michigan State played a much superior North Carolina team yesterday and got their butts handed to them. When you lose in the tournament, you go home. Period.

They lost to UNC in the second round. Losing to a team of that low of a caliber, they shouldn't even be in the tourney

They lost to a very talented Wisconsin team.. If you want revenge, they did just lose to UNLV.... A team that can't score always loses.... Defense can't win you the game all the time :)

Because North Carolina put it to em and put them out of the tournament. N.C. just had to many atheletes for state.
