Do deals corresponding with sports events, as most of your patrons will be that kind of person. (Pardon the stereotype.)

If you do carry-out/delivery, which you should, then offer discounts on game day. Maybe take off a certain amount of money from each purchase based on how many points the local sports team scores. If at all possible, get a TV up in the restaurant. Give $3 off to the first 5 customers to order after the local sports team scores x number of points, or something like that.

Splitting away from the sports idea, hand out frequent-buyer cards. Every time they buy something at your place, put a *UNIQUE* stamp or sticker on the card, and after a certain amount of stamps, they get something free.

Where I live we have a pizza place that offers 2 free pizza or ribs with pick up and 1 free with delivery. Granted it was a little more expensive than a regular pizza place and it really wasn't all that good. Maybe you could try a limited time deal like that. Just make sure the food tastes good. Lol!
