it wouldn't do much good. anyone for any reason can click that abuse tab, and there ya go! yes, as stated above, tho, common sense should be the rule of thumb.

No there is not another venue...
It's all in how you word things here on P/S. Of course your question should end with a question mark but it it still does not read like a question but rather a statement, they may get you.
When answering it is always a good idea to first answer in a poll responce like "Yes. I've had that happen" And then give your reason be it smart a*sed or funny.
I've also learnt that if you say "I do know" your answer is inconclusive and may be seen as a violation..
Hope this helps... I myself learnt all of this the hard way!

They should give actual examples of violations with an explanation. I've had questions deleted long after they were resolved without a reason.

You mean you don't like it when they e-mail you with a violation notice and tell you what the violation was in Spanish? Sure it's a good idea, but don't hold your breath.

Commonsense should rule...How would your parents want you to behave if you were visiting some place? Respect and decency...

You mean, besides the 'chatting' example "What Time Is It?" is a clear example of chatting... isn't it...?
