My favorite is George Carlin an example of his older stuff should give an idea of him as the hippie dippy weatherman Al Sleet or the News Promo-"The Sun did not come up this morning there are giant cracks in the earth....film at 11." Of course there are the 7 Dirty Words You Can Never Say on Television. And a newer bit the difference between football and Baseball. Face it the guy is a Genius.

Eddie Murphy is without a doubt the best stand up comedian I have ever seen. Both Raw and Delirious are classics and have withstood the test of time. They were performed in the 80's but the jokes arent outdated, they are so great and funny theyve last 30 years and are still strong.

CK Louise is hilarious as well, hes a bit more dark and wild but hes outstanding. He says alot of things people think but wouldnt dare say. And his facial expressions are classic. Not only is he great, but hes so good Dane Cook has stollen some of his material. CK Louise is from 2001, Dane Cooks same joke from his 2005 material.

Eddie Griffin. I just love this guys energy. Hes a little outdated, but wow he used to make me laugh hard. His Michael Jackson was the greatest. And the way he blinks because of whatever condition he has makes it semi funnier.

Jamie Foxx is pretty good at times too. Africa....holly willy way olly wolly way ooh nah nah. I put the clip when he talks about LL Cool J, it was hilarious if you know the story.

My favourite comedian at the moment is Peter Kay, I laughed my head off when I saw his standup from Blackpool tower on the DVD. He is hysterical - just the way he sees the world, he makes everyday situations funny. I think that's why so many people like him, we can identify with him.

Chris Rock for his observations on life in the United States. As irreverent as he sometimes is, complete with the f's and mf's he always keeps it veeery real, very true, and very devoid of bull ****. Yet he maintains a sense of humor in the way he sees our culture and certain people. His viewpoint is both hilarious and scathing at the same time. Go figure.
Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert........ I think they are siamese twins conjoined at the comedy head and it's hard for me to seperate the two. For the same reasons I like Chris Rock, Stewart and Colbert tell it like it is, minus the bull....and we like them....and we laugh at their observations of our american culture. Sarcasm becomes them. No wonder they've received numerous Peabody's and Comedy Awards. They keep it real and keep us sane and laughing, especially now when this absurdly non-funny adm. justs keeps getting progressively more bizarre and more outrageous and nothing they do is remotely funny. Stewart and Colbert are a breath of fresh American air. We need them. They are like clowns of god.

EDDIE IZZARD
There are just too many and they're too detailed and intertwined to pull out examples, as he does a whole set his stories all cross and he talks intelligently about many aspects of life, culture, language and religion.
God is James Mason of course and Noah is Sean Connery.

Chris Rock, the best in world
"Who's judging American Idol? Paula Abdul? Paula Abdul judging a singing contest is like Christopher Reeve judging a dance contest! "
