It's certainly the cause of some social (and political) problems.

Money buys better education, better social standing, and political power (no politician will win a major election without spending millions).

I don't think so. It's a part of the problem but I think people use it as an excuse.

Not taking advantage of educational opportunities, having priorities based on possessions, lack of ethics and everybody claiming the "moral high ground" without trying to understand the others point of view.

People should do more listening and asking questions than trying to prove their point and show that you are wrong.

I think it's definitely part of the problem money can secure great opportunities in life better neighborhood which lead to better education which land you a better job and that land you and your families life security but no it is not the entire problem though
