I am aware that the hymen could be torn thru sports/finger masturbation - does this affect a female being a virgin or not...?
While playing sports, or moving around I feel the lips of my vagina are spaced out, I have never had sex before. I have a strange feeling that my hymen is torn....

you are still a virgin whether or not your hymen is broken or not. you are not a virgin if you have had sexual intercourse involving penetration.

No, whether you have a hymen or not is no indication of whether you are a virgin or not. The only way to lose your virginity is through penetration by a penis.
