I HAVE TO KNOW THESE FOR MY TEST TOMORROW AND I CANT FIND THEM. I HAD 40 PROBLEMS BUT I CANT FIND THESE 5 IN THE BOOK. CAN SOME ONE PLESE HELP ME. IF I FLUNK THIS TEST IM IN DEEP TROUBLE. IT IS 20% OF MY GRADE IN THIS CLASS. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE BEST ANSWER BUT SHORTEST AS POSSIBLE. THANKS SO MUCH TO WHO EVER HELPS ME!!!

0) DON'T SHOUT! IT'S CONSIDERED VERY RUDE!
1) Look up alpha particle on wikipedia. It will tell you how many protons and neutrons it's made out of. Every proton carries a +1 charge. Neutrons have no charge. Protons and neutrons are about the same mass.
2) Look up how geiger counters work.
3) That's something you can figure out from the composition of an alpha particle and the nitrogen atom.
4) That's in your book for sure.
5) Half life is when half the material is used up. If it takes 36.9 years to use up 1/8, it takes 36.9 * 4 to use up 1/2.

If you can't figure it out from there, you really don't deserve to be passing this exam. Study harder next time.
