The 1960s. I want to know what it was really like during that time, and how much it has been romanticized.
Woodstock, sit ins, the Beatles, it's all so legendary now.

I'm old fashioned.
The 20s!
Prohibition and flappers all the way! I like the idea of being a revolutionary. Flappers were the first to wear their skirts and dresses shorter. The dancing was great as well. Just gotta love the Charlston.
The 50s!
Call me conservative, but this decade was cool as well. Not to mention that Harry Truman was one of the greatest presidents of our country. The dancing here was awesome as well. Swing is a great deal of fun and very catchy.
Back in both of these decades, you didn't really have to worry about being jumped in an alleyway and people had more respect for each other. I find that I am conservative and old fashioned compared to the rest of society today. I don't like swearing, and promiscuity is just wrong. Sex before marriage isn't my idea of "love." I find that these decades would allow me to be myself more than today's zeitgeist does. The big issue is respect. Not just for others, but for oneself. People today have little or no respect.

I didn't finish this yesterday I would go back to the 50's .It was a simpler time , America was #1 and there were hundreds of kids to play with because of the baby boom. This was the start of 2 week vacations by car, amazing times.

90's, or the teens' or the first decade. Maybe the thirties just to see what it was like, but I would prefer to live in the 90's since I have experianced that and know what it is like.
