It's not the sun sign that you have to look at; it's the age of the person, or, better yet, the emotional age, the "maturity" level of the person. It doesn't make much difference what the sun sign is, male or female doesn't matter either..........what matters most is the emotional cognitive and social developmental "age" the person demonstrates. Also conflict between old souls, young souls, karmic dependence, dharmic confusion and basic being-out-of-present-time will make anyone "clingy".

Cancer, by a longshot, depending how far away mommy is that day and where the moon is every 2 and 1/2 days (The moon changes signs approximately every 2 1/2 days which is why cancers are so moody.) Grownup cancers have let go the apron strings and began their own families. The immature ones - those are your hangers-on clingy ones. Why do you think the crab is their symbol? I think you should give soniie the best answer...I'm a cancer...and what she what is very perfect to the tee...i dont like clingy people persay...and im not a clingy person at all..and i find it that people when they meet me want to be around me all the time...because im just a good p erson and i have great energy...and if i do come across someone i like...then i would like ot spend time with them..but i dont call them all the time like...you want to go out...you want to go out...i dont act clingy towards people...but different cancers are different...i know 4 cancers and we are all the same...but one of them is really clingy...but thats just them as a person.....and for the comment some one made about cancers needing people...i think most PEOPLE need others...me being a cancer im very dependant and i like being that way and i dont need others nore do i cling to them

lol wow most of people saying Cancer.
But i wouldnt call cancers being obsessed.
People who cancers interact with may tend to be clingy to them, i can even say for myself because, they find it rare to find someone they like to be around and when they do finally find someone they want to spend all there time with that person b/c..then who would they spend it with? Some people can make 100's of friends or best friends. You lose some, make new ones,people come and go but with cancers they pick very carefully, going down there mental check list of weather your good or not. Most of the time its a no. They just dont pick anyone b/c they may be afraid to get hurt or get clingy to someone then all of a sudden have that person disappear from there life.
If this person is being clingy be sensitive to there feelings and ask them "why do you want to be around me all the time, im not that great" That may make this person comfortable enough to tell you why they want to be around you. Again if this person is a cancer they would love to prove you wrong with this one and you would get your answer

In my experience, Virgo and Pisces. Both want to control everything you do, by using "hurt feelings" manipulation. You can't even go to the restroom, without them tagging along. And they are on the phone, wanting to know when your going to be home.
