We have been split up for 2 years now, and I just can't seem to stop having feelings for him. He has used me off and on for the past 2 years and not been around when he says he going to be, which hurts my daughter. Then he tells me things like he still has love for me but doesn't want to try to work things out between the two of us. I am torn and don't know what to do. He hurts me everyday, and I want it to stop. I want to be stronger and move on but can't find the strength to do it. Can anyone help me?

I know this sounds dumb, but get counseling. It really works! I thought it was all crap, but it's not!

Have you tried marriage couselling? If he refuses what you have to do is go get couseling for yourself and get emotionally stronger yourself. Then ask yourself all the hard questions, is this what I want? Do I want to be with him the rest of my life? Can I financially handle it on my own? Its a grieving process, we have to figure out what we Need and make a goal to get it. Its difficult but you will get there, and you have to remember what is best for your daughter too. Children get a lot of emotional problems when parents fight. Take care Heather

Before anyone can help, you have start helping yourself first. pay no attention when he comes around trying to use you.Take a look at yourself and note what needs fixing.Do you need to firm up ? Do it ,start prettying yourself up and keep on saying to yourself, your going to get a new man and a new life and this old loser can come and kiss your b---.
