I'm in a play called PUSS IN BOOTS and I got the part of the peasent woman. what do you think I should wear in or do with my hair? Example: make it messy or wear a bandana,etc.

I would put it up in a really messy bun. Actually, I would put it in a bun the night before the performance and sleep with it in.

Your director doesn't care? This should be his or her decision, unless he or she has specifically stated that it's up to you.

If it is up to you, your head should be covered because of the time period in which the story takes place. People generally covered their heads in that day. Use the bandana or other scarf and tie it under your hair behind your neck. Leave a few straggly wisps of hair poking out if she's supposed to look harried or hassled.

well the play is called PUSS IN BOOTS so even if you are a peasant women you can definitely use your imagination with this one. Be creative

If you're a peasant, they usually were portrayed with slightly tattered head coverings like cloth. Under the cloth, leave your hair kind of messy! :D

Here's my suggestion- wear a wig, that's black hair with grey spots, and make it look like hasn't been combed for at least
40 years. Wear makeup that ages you forward, and some grey and black clothse. Carry a broom with you.
