Humans are generalist omnivores...We. share numerous characteristic ts with others of type.... The placement of our eyes,, in place for depth perception.. As is a lions,, aiming is better that way...Yet we also have teeth suitable for grinding plant matter... Our digestive system effectively breaks down both materials . and our physical and mental development requires components of both to develop properly.

We have the forward facing eyes of a hunter, however we have a tragically poor sense of smell. We have the teeth and digestive system to cope with any diet and not specialised toward or away from meat. We have the instincts of a predator within us (the urge to chase when someone runs is a good example). Although there are still people around the world who actively hunt, I'd say the vast majority of us are unspecialised opportunistic scavengers.

No. The definition of a predator is an organism that hunts, kills, and eats another animal. Humans buy groceries at the store and do not hunt, kill, and then eat animals. Unless you have a hunting license in which case they are predators.

Humans are omnivores; they eat plants and animals both. They are predators in that humans do sometimes hunt and kill for food, but this is not the only way they get food.
