So we all know that horizontal stripes are in. I can pull almost anything off. But what do we think of VERTICAL stripes? Opinions!

If you have pinstripes--the really thin, almost unnoticeable ones, that's okay. But if you have, like, jailer-type vertical stripes ... only a handful of the people in this world can pull that kind of stuff off. And contrary to popular beliefs, vertical stripes CANNOT make you look any thinner. Well, they might, but really, the hideousness of it all will hide any chance of you looking smaller.

Vertical stripes are good to make you appear slimmer,but I don't ever wear things with vertical stripes.

very thin vertical stripes work in a pantsuit..but it is a very tailored look.
vertical stripes are dated looking..and horizontal stripes are already on their way out in manhattan.

As long as it coordinates with you outfit vertical stripes are cool

Well I like pin striped clothes, with the main color being black and the "pin" stripes are white... I really don't like other colors with it as much.

vertical stipes make you appear slimmer and taller, in order 2 wear horizontal you need 2 have the figure. so go by that

ya they look nice but i think it only looks nice if one of the colours is white!!
