lets say you were married and were going to get a divorce.....once your ready to start dating would you want to date someone thats never been married or look for a divorcee(someone comming out of a marriage )?

I would look for someone who shared some of the same interests as i do and that we got along really good and it really wouldn't matter if they had been married before or not, if you hit it off then that is what matters.

It wouldn't matter if the man had had a past marriage or were never married, because I'd even consider a widower for a date.

well, when my parents divorced, my mom dated a divorcee (whom she is now married to) and my dad dated someone who had broken off an engagement and has been dating her for over 2 years.

I wouldn't base my dating preference on the person's experience with marriage. Seems too limiting.

As always I perfer someone without any baggage, but you date the one you like no matter want his/her past was. Past is history.
