go on a diet and do about 300 situps a day and run a couple miles a day, that will help with weight. To get faster do short (40 yard) sprints. Work on your running technique too, that will make you go faster. And just do let you know, the more you pump your arms when running, the faster you go.

eat less fatty food and go to a gym and work out for at least an hour. after the workout eat. that way the food will flow straight into ur muscles. also drink ALOT of water. if u have something like a treadmill, dont be a couch potato, work out while watching tv or listening 2 mood music. also go jogging or biking. try attaching some sort of small parachute 2 ur back and run the 40. if u can get a 5.0 with a parachute, imagine what without.

Look up fast twitch training in your area. Most of the guys went though this training last summer including the linemen. The only thing we have to show for it is a 7 on 7 state champion and Dist 5-5A Texas Championship. Look for Velocity Training

NO SUPPLEMENTS!

First, regular workouts...
then, start running hills...and on the days you don't do hills...run steps - like the stadium steps.

Once a week, encorporate side shuttles to keep your ankles strong and loose...agility is a factor in your explosion speed. You'll need this to turn the corner and get upfield.

Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day.

You can snack on fruit and veggies all day - they'll keep you full and won't get stored in your fat cells.

The weight will drop if you avoid snack foods like ice cream and chips.

Best of luck.

it's simple, just run. if u r heavy like me (not like a huge person i play football i just play line so i know how to stay in conditioning) you jog half mile away from ur house and walk the other half back, do this for a week. then jog the whole mile for a week. then run one half walk other for a week. then run half jog half for a week. run whole mile for a week. then you can just walk the entire thing for the rest of the year and lift weights you will have better stamina and eat healthy to make sure you get your weight down. In one week I already lost 5 pounds so if I keep it up in 6 weks i will lose 30 pounds. You should try it.
