Yes, it depends entirely on the *type* of glue you've used, the materials you glued together, and how good the original bond was.
Water-base glues (like "white glues") will respond to water (only by soaking after they've dried, esp. past a week), or to other solvents (paint thinner or acetone...cyanoacrylate debonder...alcohol...etc) , or some to heat or cold (which causes them to fail or to get brittle)... and some would be extremely difficult to remove or to make release what they've joined.
Your best bet may be to call whichever company that makes the glue you used, then tell them what you've done and what you want to do...they all have technical departments that should be able to give you the best info for their glue.

As for creating the best bond, as mentioned always read the exact instructions on the tube/jar/etc., since each type of adhesive has a preferred method for giving the strongest joins.

(Gorilla Glue btw is a polyurethane glue... extremely strong, will glue most anything, activated by moisture, swells when curing so must be clamped or weighted while curing, etc.)

It all depends on what type of glue you mean. Some let go when too cold, yes. Some get brittle when dry, so you can simply crack it to get it off. Some can be loosened by using water, even when they've dried. Others require a special solvent, like GooGone. Still others let go when greased.

To make it stick better, read the directions on the packaging carefully and follow them to the letter. If you need a stronger bond than your glue gives, get a stronger glue. I've heard Gorilla Glue is good, but have never used it. I've used the Goop glues and find them excellent. (Shoe Goo, Amazing Goop, Household Goop, E6000, Crafters' Goop, etc) They're available at hardware and home improvement stores and the hardware department of larger discount stores.

To loosen coldness and to make it stronger add more glue. I think. From experience to loosen it but I am guessing and to make it stronger.

Depends on the type of glue. If it is water based then soak it in water or with water. super glue will break down with nail polish remover or super glue remover etc.

It could also depend on what is glued together.
