The heart NEVER forgets......!Absence does make the heart grow fonder!

It depends on the time frame. A few weeks or months might make the heart grow fonder... A few years or decades pretty much forces the heart to move on and forget..

It's possible to re-connect with someone, but by that time they are probably a very different person with likely new and very different experiences. You're almost starting over with them in a way...

I think It's extremely unhealthy to keep your heart holding out for years and years. It will drive you to the edge. Think about it.

I believe that absence makes the heart grow fonder. My boyfriend and I had to spend Christmas break apart (about 5 weeks) and when we got back together things were...AMAZING. During those few weeks we really found out how much we cared about each other and what he meant to me. It was a very passionate return kind of like when your first dating and things are all hot, new, and sexy. True love is when you can let someone go and know that they will come back.

Hm, good question.

I dont forget my first love. And I never see him anymore, or talk to him. My heart still yearns for him everyday.

But I dont think I grew fonder, my heart still feels the same the day I left him, and in time I'll eventually forget him.

What do you think?

Depends whether the absence is desired or not.

Ask yourself, How bad do you want it? Ask yourself were you happy before the absence? Ask yourself what was it like when you were happy w/ them? Now you have your answer,,, Majority Rules!!!!
