look for blisters
if so, it is a canker sore - and orajel does work wonders

also I would suggest changing to a high fluoride toothpaste as it will help to reduce the occurrence of canker sores

but if you don't have blisters or any noticeable marks - time to see the dentist to make sure that nothing is going on with the bone/gum

good luck - and I hope this helps

Go buy some Oragel or other medication for mouth pain. Then, call the dentist and get an appointment. The pain killer won't cure the problem. You could have an infection.

U could have an ulcer. Try rinsing Ur mouth out with salt water, that usually stops the pain!
Good luck :-)
