which is better: cingular, verizon, sprint?

Verizon has the largest network in the United States. Sprint has the second largest, and Alltel has the third largest. Honestly, there is no right answer to your question. It all depends on what state you live in, and who's towers you'll be using. If you travel lots and want to be covered everywhere you go, I suggest Verizon. If you stay local, pick the network that's closest to you with the most towers around. You can find that out by asking the dealers about their towers. Do your research before you consent to any cell phone company's agreements.

Of those I have had all 3 and like Verizon best. Depending on your location Alltel will be hands down better than all of them. My Circle is awesome and cuts down on your minutes and texting is cheaper, plus the service is strong almost anywhere.
