My sisters gat an Ipod that is blue the whole way round but wants to know if the ones with the metal back are better or just a different design.

hi whatever! sounds like ur sis has an ipod mini. there are a lot of models with the metal back, like my ipod video. i would not say the video is better than the mini or vice versa - just different. the mini is smaller and easier to carry around, but the video plays video and has more storage.

They are generally better because they can play video hold more music and pictures the one you are referring to is the ipod nano which those can only hold about 2, 4,and 8 GB and the ones with a metal back can hold 30, 60, and 80 GB.

Just a different design. Your sis's iPod is just newer than the ones with metal backs. The guts are all the same, though.

get the "third era" nano, that's a touch sq. and that's slender and not in any respect as expensive because the recent Nano Chromatics. It holds 8GB that's about 1500 songs.. I actually have this kind of and it truly works amazingly i'm a severe college who's very into music I artwork at Circuit city

Hers is a second generation while the ones with the silver back are first generation.

they are the same but with different design and the first generation ones are a little bigger
