Many people were forced to store their belongings in PODS (Portable On Demand Storage) units after the hurricanes of 2004,2005, and 2006. My family included.
We finally are ready to move back into our home in Florida and now have discovered that over half of our belongings were destroyed by water droplets while in the PODS! I can't believe that we are the only ones who were effected this way.
Would liike to hear from anyone out there who had similar problems with PODS. Please help.
Thank you in advance, CalamityJane

Yes, I have. What I found out later you can purchased rental insurance to cover your items, either from the storage or an insurance company. But it was to late the damage was done.
