Make sure you have good mowers and know how to repair them.
good weed eaters
pruners and loppers
shovels and rakes.
trash bags
gas cans oil cans
trash bags.
Transportation to and from this should get you started.
Also check to see if you need a license to operate

Go to the chamber of commerce or local community collage and ask what does it take to get a small business loan. Have a game plan list of costumers. Than buy good mowers and stuff don't go cheap. Dress sharp for the trade or people wont trust you and good luck. Hope it helps.

assuming you already have equipiment for your own yard, i would say to make sure you have customers enough to rely on the income. do it as a sideline before stepping in both feet.
