what i am looking for is more like do you tell if you see someone take something from comp. like money food or office stuff (not to get a head in comp) just that you love your job so much and if you had to be the boss one day you may have to end employment of this person?

Honestly, thats a very difficult situation. Thats about the time you start regretting working with friends. If you don't feel comfortable going to the boss with it because your worried about jeprodizing your relationship with your friend, have a talk with your friend about it.
Ask him/her why she's doing it, etc. Just tell him/her that you don't feel comfotable knowing that their doing it. etc.
Try to make the workplace as comfortable a place as you can. Therefore, making your experience as pleasureable as possible.
