It's extremely unlikely. Years ago, there were cases where both ends of the fallopian tubes would reconnect. By the time your mom had her tubal ligation, they were cutting the tube and singeing it shut. She has a much better chance of winning the lottery. At her age, beginning menopause is more likely.

I'd ask her if putting it off is going to make the situation any better? If by some miracle, she did get pregnant, the sooner she knew the better. More likely, she has some other medical problem and is ignoring it. That's very dangerous. She could have a tumor or some other serious problem. For her sake, and yours, she needs to go to the doctor and find out what's wrong.

It can be possible, but slim. I had mine tied and cut 14 years ago. No baby today! But things can happen. Your mom should see a doctor, because chances are that if she is pregnant after having her tubes tied, the baby could be forming inside her tube which is not good for her or the baby. So yeah, I'd say it is possible, just slim.

To have them tied lowers the chances of becoming pregnant but it doesn't mean that it's not possible. She should definitely go get a pregnancy test.

Anything is possible. She needs to go to a doctor and get a blood test. If she's pregnant, she'll need to be under the care of a physician because of her advanced maternal age.

If your mom is not pregnant, she needs to get checked out to find out what's going on. It could just be the flu.

As long as she hasn't gone through menopause yet. There is a slight change that the procedure can reverse itself, but it is very low. I would suggest making an appointment with her gynocologist just to make sure there isn't something else wrong!
Hope things turn out okay!

If she's been sexually active all along, it's unlikely after 15 years but still possible.
She should get it checked out. There's also a good chance she may be entering menopause as well....she's in the right age group.

yep possible but not likely

1. she had her tubes tied
2. Her age
3. I am sure at 45 she might be having menopause symtoms she should see a doctor to rule out anything bad.

It's possible but it would be a statistical anomoly. Maybe she's menopausal and is confused by it/in denial. Don't mention that to her, though, because if she is, she'll be cranky about it.
