She filed for divorce 3 months ago but didn't see it thru because he cried and begged, saying he wanted to keep his 14 year marriage with a 7year old and 11 year old daughter, intact. He started being attentive and trying to change the behaviors and probable cheating. When she annonced 3 months later of the pregnancy he reverted back to all his old ways of being distant, uncommunicative, and too 'busy' to go to doctor appointments. He said he feels she was trying to trap him which makes no sense given they are already married with 2 kids. What the deal?

He reverted back to his old ways because he knows that she is going nowhere now that she is pregnant with his child.
Why she would file for divorce and get pregnant three months later says she was bluffing trying to change him and guess what it didn't work.
Now SHE is still stuck with the same old crap and now another kid...LOL!

Well, I guess he already has a relationship with the other children and now if he leaves he won't get to know the new baby. He feels if he wants anything to do with that child he has to stay.

he's EGO is the deal. (some) no man wants to be known as a man whose wife divorced. tell your friend to go ahead with the divorce, and file a big alimony for the children.

If anything he was trying to trap her, by begging and crying for her to stay, so now that she has deciding to stay and is expecting he may be feeling like he can't handle anything more than what he has now. He sounds like he may need some counseling.

Friendship, no this isn't any longer undesirable....my contacts merely this week helped me turn my head removed from the darkness and in the direction of the mild....it is not delusional in any respect, yet a fact.

The deal is that obviously he didn't want anymore children. Just because he has 2 kids doesn't mean he wanted 3.

seems to me she was ready to get rid of him several months ago. So Husband needs to get off his high horse.....this is not trying ot trap him....maybe he needs sto be reminded who was crying and begging.....trap my a**...he wishes...pfft.
