I want to sleep nude but my parents don't approve what should i do?

As long as you are in their house, abide by their rules. That's what I was taught. When you move out, you can do whatever you want.

Ummm... why are your grandparents looking at you while you are sleeping anyway? At 14, I suppose you should be able to sleep however the heck you want to. At 14, you are sort of dealing with a few things physically now anyway. I wouldn't think that Grandma and or Grandpa would be wanting to walk into your room without knocking anyway, so I really don't get what the big deal is. How would they EVER know that you were nude?

My gut instinct says to do it anyway, but then again, my parents are slightly less likely to get mad about sleeping naked.

I would ask your grandparents why they find it inappropriate to sleep naked. Challenge their authority in a diplomatic way. If they cannot give you a straight answer or give you the "because we said so" (or similar) answer, show them that they are the irrational ones.

If they continue to tell you that you should not sleep naked, lock your door (if possible) and do it anyway.

Consider what would happen if you slept naked and they found out. Do they threaten you with some sort of punishment if you do? If not, do it anyway. If so, consider if that punishment is too great of a price to pay. Then make your decision.

Everyone needs some form of rebellion. It is human nature. It is also human nature to be curious. Would it be possible to explain to them why you want to sleep naked?

Just tell them you feel more comfortable sleeping nude. I was 14 when I started sleeping nude and I still do.

Try sleeping with at least shorts on. Think about what woud happen if you woke up with the house on fire and just had time to dive out the window. If you're in the nude it can be a bit tricky.

I have a girl that wants to sleep nude but we live in a mobile home and she wants to lock the door. locking the door is what scares me,because of fire breakouts or break in:s or anything could happen. she is a heavy sleeper,could not wake her up for nothing.

Do whatever you want to do. If you have your own bedroom at your grandparents' house, just sleep nude...unless you think there's a chance they might walk in unexpectedly.

If you're living in someone else's home, you have to follow their rules. If you are a guy, I don't think your gd parents would approve of u wearing a leotard. You can wear loose fitting pjs which are very comfy.

Unfortunately, when you're a teenager living in somebody else's home, you have to respect their rules.

You'll have plenty of time as an adult to sleep in the nude.

Meanwhile, consider getting a dancer's leotards and sleeping in that. It fits close to the body, but not terribly binding, so you don't have clothes wrapping around you all night long. It's the closest thing to sleeping naked that I know of.

Close the door. If you have to leave your room, close the door. If grandma is doing the laundry, throw some pajamas in there every few days.

They're afraid you might get into a habit of playing with your little friend...get some silk boxers....they are pretty comfortable...they slide on the sheets and don't get twisted up so easily. And they are good feeling.
