I go in the winter, and it's usually just fine for an intermediate surfer. There's even some some sweet little tubes.

On my last day, it got a little crowded, so I found this service that would take a little fishing boat with 5 or 10 surfers out to these great breaks on the other side of the peninsula. It's real easy to find, as they usually park themselves right on the beach by the main surf spot.

There's this surfer there too, most people just call him "Tigre" but he's incredible. He owns a restaurant called "Tigre's". If you go, talk to him, he's a nice guy and a great surfer.

Pretty good, better in the summer .... but the waves get very crowded (it's a narrow beach). It's kind of an in place to go so busy
