A gross subject which need some answers plz?
rite the problem is everytime a do a poo it is pretty hard and also makes me bleed i think it has almost been 2weeks not sure exactly i am going 2 c about it with the dr along with other stuff but would he/she give me because i am 18weeks pregnant also and elergic 2 peniciline
i am makin an apt 2moz bout it

The Doctor ill probably recommend you use a suppository to help you go now and stool softeners to help keep you more regular. Don't worry constipation is a normal part of pregnancy. The blood is from the stool being too large. It sometimes creates small rips around the anus. You could develop hemroids if this continues. If you do you can use Cortisone cream, but before you do anything check with your Dr. Advise from other moms is great but when it comes to being safe check with your Ob. There are a few things you can do to loosen things up a bit. Constipation is very normal in pregnancy, because of the hormones slowing digestion down. Make sure you drink plenty of water (it really does help). Eat lots of fiber, as that is easier to pass. Get some low-impact exercise... it gets things moving a bit. You might want to try prunes or prune juice, too. They really do work!
