Is it normal to not be showing at 16 weeks?? 1st pregnancy?

I'm 21 weeks and not showing. You may be one of those people who never show your pregnant until later or never show pregnant. As long as the doctor says you are okay, it is completely normal. I've not gained weight (lost 20 pounds in fact) during my pregnancy, but my uterus and baby are where they need to be. This is my first pregnancy as well. I love when people tell me I look great for being pregnant. As long as the doctor sees your healthy and babies healthy, you are doing well.

When I was 16 weeks I wasnt showing much either. But from 16-18 weeks, I really filled out! It just depends how big you were before you got pregnant. Because of course someone that weighs 110 is going to show a lot sooner then someone that weighs 160. Give it time. I am 18 weeks right now and I have only gained 0.2 pounds, so I dont know where this baby belly is coming from. But dont worry you will have one soon.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant with my 1st pregnancy also. My Mum said she can't believe how small I am. Apparently alot of people say the first pregnancy you dont show as much. The registrar who saw me when I was around 14 weeks pregnant asked if I was even pregnant. It all depends on the person. I had nearly no stomach before I got pregnant and weighed 57kg. Congratulations and try not to worry. If you are worried bring it up at the next Doctors appointment you have, they are there to answer your questions.

Your fine. I was wearing a bikini at 23 weeks with my 1st and no one could tell I was pregnant( I wore a size 3). It all depends on you and your body. My doc said it was probably due to my age and level of fitness. 19 and a gymnast. Everyone's body is different. As long as your docs not worried you shouldn't be. Good Luck and Congratulations.

The thinner u r, the earlier u will show.
My neice didnt show until about 6 months. She had a little weight on her.
My friend didnt show till 8 months. She had alot of weight on her.
I think it depends on the individual. I am anything but thin, but I wasnt heavy at all........I started showing immediately it seemed like. I know it wasnt baby, but I couldnt wear my pants after week 12.

Oh honey, when I was preg with my first, I didnt start showing at all till my 6th month! I was flat as a board until about 27 weeks! AND my son was over 10 pounds!
Yeah, its totally normal. I am pregnant with my second baby, and I didnt start showing until about 18 weeks... totally normal...

Everybody is different, but the slimmer you are at the start of your pregnancy the faster you will begin to show. I started showing at 3 months (not to others but to myself and my husband). It really depends on how you dress too, some women dress to conceal their bump and others cant wait to put on maternity clothes so people know they are expecting.
Most women really dont start to show until 5-6 months

I think you show later with your first pregnancy. Funny, because that's the one you are probably anxious to show, but your muscles haven't been stretched yet so it isn't unusual to not show much until your 5th or 6 th month. Good luck with you new one!

lucky u im 16 weeks and im showin like crazy i had a lady in the shop ask when i was due ... i thort to my self ... to bad if i just had a little extra weight ... take full advantage of not having to wear fat (maternity) clothes yet and still being able to fit in the old ones lol

yea some women dont show till very late on but deppends on ur figure before u got pregnant but usual most women do start showing at that time evena little bit
