J just bought a 2001 Yamaha YZF R6 and i was riding it earlier and i got a nail stuck in the tire and know i need new tires, they where old anyways and need to be replaced but anyways i don't know the sizes they are so i was wondering if any of you guys or girls know what size tires i need to buy and a cheap place to buy them from.

The size of the old ones is on the side of the tires.
The proper (stock) size is listed on the lable on the bike, and in the owner's manual.

Look on the side of the tire for current size your machine has.Get quality tires they could save your life.

Yeah, the size is on the sidewall. I can't see how that would be worn off, unless you've been running them really low on air.

Look on the side of the old tires,it's printed there.
