Depending on the size of the book ... you can get the flat rate envelope and put it in there and mail it for around $4 (not sure of current rate). Will go first class that way at a nominal cost.
Otherwise, put it in a box and mail it library book rate. Takes longer but it's cheap.

Put just a regular postage stamp on it then put the the address you want it to go to as your return address and your address as the its being sent to, then drop it in the mail, they will return it to the sender for not enough postage and it will get to the place you want it to go for practically nothing. Hehe its works but if you want to be more ethical take it to the post office and send it regular mail as cheap as you can it will take forever to get there but be cheapest you can get
