find a vent the blows air or something don't touch any buttons or find a dryer put it on top. take the battery off. and power down your ipod. if you turn it on it may corrupt it more just leave it alone for a day or so sometimes longer depending on how wet you got it.. iv heard only good stories from people just letting them dry and not touching them.
don't let it get to hot. iv wet so many electronics so far my luck had been good. hope yours is too.

You may have washed out the screen since there is no cover on that.. go to your local electronics store and see if they could fix it or go to apple.com and see if they could help, if either doesnt work you could try restarting your ipod (center button and up) it may work but i bet it is the parts and pieces not the memory or anything. If they store cant help im sorry to say you may need to buy a new one!

If I were you, I wouldn't try any home remedy since you don't know exactly what the problem is. I would bring it to an apple store and let them try to fix it. If you fiddle around with it, you could wind up doing more damage and then having to buy a new one, whereas if all you have to do right now is have it fixed, it may cost you less money.

Buy a new one. Unless you have a warranty on it thats what you have to do because there is no way to fix it.
