because the older systems didn't have a stronger fan and this **** happens to most new systems like the PS3 as well, but the X360 and PS3 are definetly better than that gay @ss Wii. sorry but true the Wii just stinks bad, doesn't even have online and the graphics suck!

because it does started happening to me the second day after I bought the thing and no this was not at launch this was last month... after returning to the repair center and getting a more broken system in return (it wouldn't even turn on just gave me three flashing red lights)... I decided to just exchange it where I bought it (they didn't have another one when it first broke) and have yet to have a problem with this one I think it's just some system have problems some don't

To add to this it was always on Call of Duty 3 it would freeze on (Xbox live) and offline... and Gears of War would freeze online a lot... now with the new system I exchanged my old one for I play COD3 with no problems

Because it is made by microsoft and microsoft makes windows computers and windows computers are famous for freezing. The xbox only lasts 10 years because it is a computer.

Because it does happen. Usually from no known source, completely random, same thing as a computer crash basically.
