How can I make new friends in Orlando?

I have been here for almost 5 years. I am looking to make new friends with a female preferably with kids. I am married and have two young children. I have met many acquaintances but no real friendship emerged. I feel so lonely here and it seems impossible to meet new people. Any suggestions?

Volunteer

My guess is you will be working/volunteering with people who have similar interests. I am sure in this climate, friendships will form.
